What is Domiciliation?
Trade domiciliation is the mandatory registration of import and export contracts with an authorised Algerian bank — a legal requirement under Bank of Algeria regulation No. 07-01.
Why is it required?
Algeria requires all international trade transactions above a threshold value to be domiciled with a local bank. This enables the central bank to monitor foreign exchange flows and ensure compliance with customs and tax obligations.
Failure to domicile a trade file can result in customs clearance being blocked and significant financial penalties for your company.

The Domiciliation Process

Register on the E-TRADE platform with your company details and legal documents. Verification takes 24–48 hours.
Submit Your Trade Contract
Upload your export or import contract along with required supporting documents (invoice, packing list, etc.).
Bank Review & Validation
BEA Bank reviews your file for compliance with Bank of Algeria regulations. You receive real-time status updates.
Receive Domiciliation Number
Once approved, your unique domiciliation number is issued and all customs and financial systems are notified automatically.
Execute & Track
Proceed with your trade operations. Track shipments, payments, and compliance deadlines from your dashboard.
File Closure
Submit final customs and banking documents to close the domiciliation file. BEA Bank archives everything digitally.
